When you browse our site, we collect data about:

2.3. When you apply for our job offers
When you apply for our job offers, we collect the following data in order to study your application and manage interviews, communicate with you and build our CV library, based on our legitimate interest:
- your name, first name, age, gender, date of birth, telephone number, postal address and e-mail address;
- all information contained in your CV and cover letter or any other document you submit to us in support of your application;
- all information relevant to the selection process that we may collect through our partners in charge of checking your references or the suitability of your skills for the position, such as the position for which you apply, your desired salary, as well as the results of tests and evaluations performed during the recruitment process;
- all information related to our written or oral exchanges;
- all information included in your application and the results of all your previous applications, interviews and selection processes.
The information that is required for us to consider your application and communicate with you is clearly indicated at the time it is requested.
If needed, we may also keep and use your data to manage possible litigation, on the basis of our legitimate interest.Â
3. HOW DO WE SHARE YOUR DATA?
If you have applied to a job offer, we may share your data with another Rakuten Group entity or with some of our service providers to check your references or verify the suitability of your skills for the position for which you have applied (based on our legitimate interest).
In such case, your data may be transferred outside of the European Union. For this reason, communication of your data to another Rakuten Group entity for the processing of your application is performed in compliance with our binding corporate rules that we have adopted and that have been validated by the supervisory authority of Luxembourg. Our binding corporate rules ensure a comparable level of protection of your data worldwide within each Rakuten Group entity.
When we use service providers, for instance, to host our website, for the processing of your application or to answer to any of your inquiry, we ensure that they have sufficient safeguards to maintain the security and confidentiality of your data in accordance with applicable regulations.
If the use of these services providers requires transfer of your data outside of the European Union, we implement appropriate safeguards to ensure an adequate level of protection of your data.Â
4. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA?
We keep your data for as long as your application is pending.
If your application is not successful, we will also keep your data in our CV library for 2 years to contact you about other job opportunities that may interest you.Â
Please refer to the following section if you wish to exercise the different rights you have regarding your data.
When you contact us, in particular when you use a contact form, we may keep your data up to 5 years.Â
Data relating to audience measurement of our site are kept for 13 months.Â
5. HOW TO EXERCISE YOUR RIGHTS?
In accordance with the applicable regulations, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, oppose, limit, and port your personal data.
When the processing implemented is based on your consent, you can withdraw your consent at any time. In this case, the lawfulness of the processing carried out before this withdrawal will not be called into question.
Finally, you may inform us of your instructions concerning the conservation, deletion and communication of your personal data in the event of your death.

In the event you have applied to a job offer by using our website dedicated to job offers, please note that you may rectify your data on the profile created on our recruitment platform and deleted such profile.
